RIZING STARZ (3 – 4 Yrs)
Our Rizing Stars class starts off our little dancers with a 45 mins class of fun whilst learning how to move and control their bodies. It is ideal for children aged between 3 – 4 years old and, it has a strong focus on co-ordination with the fundamentals of learning to skip, gallop and hear the beat of the music. Throughout the program the children gain the confidence and skills to dance to a routine that they then present at our end of year concert, should they wish to participate. We also incorporate some fun themed dress up lessons during the term to ensure we keep this program engaging with our youngest dancers.
ACRO JAZZ (4 – 6 Yrs)
Is your child always upside down and dancing around the house? We have the perfect class for them! Acro Jazz is a mix of both Jazz and Acrobatics where students develop their physical skills like strength, flexibility, body awareness and control. As well as, social and psychological skills like self confidence, building friendships and understanding respect. Your child will learn skills such as, Pike Position, Skipping, Marching, Pre Cartwheel, Plié, Tendu, to name a few. All of this happens in a super fun way and allows personal expression of creativity. We are excited to offer this wonderful program Acro Jazz to our 4 – 6 year olds, with the class duration of 1 hour.
This class is incredible value to our customers as the students learn the foundation techniques of multiple genres in one class.
STARZ BALLET (4 – 5 Yrs)
This introduction to ballet will have your little one twirling, pointing toes and enjoying what is the beautiful art of ballet. Often our young dancers want to experience ballet and this specific class allows them to be introduced to the very basic fundamentals of ballet and gets them ready to progress into the world renowned and recognised program of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD Ballet), which we offer here at Rize Dance Company.
PRE-PRIMARY BALLET (5 – 6 Yrs)
We also, offer a Pre-Primary RAD Ballet program for our preschool and prep aged little dancers. Ballet is a wonderful foundation for all genres of dance and within the Pre Primary ballet, they learn to develop a combination of steps and exercises and is the perfect compliment to our Acro Dance program. Learning ballet from this young age helps develop a strong foundation for technique and sets our little dancers up for years to come.

BEGINNER TAP (6 – 8 Yrs)
This class is suitable for students aged 6 to 9 years of age, who have basic or no Tap Dance experience. Tap is an excellent class to help dancers hear & understand different timings. It’s a great class to begin your dance journey with and it also enhances all other styles of dance.
MINI STARZ (6 – 8 Yrs)
A class designed for 6 to 8 Year olds with a strong focus on Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. Watch as your little star comes to life! This is a great starting class for those kids wanting to be apart of our Eisteddfod teams.
